Bob Hope Home - Toluca Lake

Bob Hope's home is on Moorpark Street in Toluca Lake, Ca.  In the spring of 1940 Bob Hope purchased this Tudor style home in Toluca Lake.  He had been renting since his arrival to Hollywood in 1938, but, unlike many stars of the day, who moved frequently, once he and his wife, Dolores purchased this estate they would go on to live here for over 60 years.  This San Fernando Valley property was his home until he died here on July 27, 2003 at the age of 100.  Dolores lived here until her death in September 2011, at the age of 102.  They are both laid to rest in the San Fernando Mission Cemetery in Los Angeles.
