John Dillinger's hideout is on North Clarendon Avenue in Chicago. In the fall of 1933 John Dillinger rented a six-room apartment on the third floor of this building in Chicago. He, Harry Pierpont, Pierpont's girl, Mary Kinder, and Dillinger's girl, Billie Frechette hid out here until November 14, when Dillinger, wise to an ambush, made his getaway from a doctor's office he was visiting. The police raided the apartment the next day, but everyone had fled.
