Angelo Genna Home - Chicago

Angelo Genna's apartment is located on North Sheridan Road in Chicago, Illinois.  The youngest of the ruthless Genna brothers crime family, "BloodyAngelo" lived in an upper floor apartment, here at the Belmont Hotel, with his wife, Lucille.  In 1924 Genna family associates had assassinated Dion O'Banion in his florist shop.  For this, Earl "Hymie" Weiss vowed revenge against the Gennas.  On May 25, 1925, Weiss and two cohorts trailed Genna from this hotel.  When they caught up with him several blocks away they fired two shotgun blasts into his car, sending him to his maker.
