Stan Laurel Home - Bishop Auckland

Stan Laurel's home is on Princes Street in Bishop Auckland, England.  The comedian lived in this home with his parents from 1891 to 1895. He was born in Ulverston, but moved here with his family soon after his birth.  He was baptized in nearby St. Peter's Church in 1891.  In 1895 the family moved to North Shields.  A blue plaque marks the home.
