Jim Morrison's home is on Rue Beautreillis in Paris, France. It was here he spent the last few months of his life. After completing work on the album L.A. Woman, The Doors frontman Jim Morrison returned to Paris on March 11, 1971 and joined his girlfriend, Pamela Courson, had arrived in Paris on February 14th and was staying at the Hotel Georges V. Shortly thereafter they moved to an apartment here, at 17 Rue Beautreillis, in the Marais section of Paris. On July 3, 1971, he was reportedly found dead in the bathtub of his apartment, the official cause of his death listed as a heart attack.
