Ulysses S. Grant Boyhood Home - Ohio
Ulysses S. Grant's boyhood home is on East Grant Avenue in Georgetown, Ohio. Built by his father, Jesse, in 1823, this served as the future president's home until 1839, when he went off to military school at West Point. The house became a museum in 1982. It has been designated a National Historic Landmark and listed on the National Register Of Historic Places.
