Hotel Jacob et d'Angleterre is located on Rue Jacob in Paris. In this hotel in 1783, John Jay, Benjamin Franklin, and John Adams penned the treaty with the British that ended the Revolutionary War. The trio moved down the street to no. 56 for the official signing. Many years later in December of 1921, Ernest and Hadley Hemingway stayed in this hotel when they first arrived in Paris. Author Washington Irving also spent time here in 1805.
